2025 NFL Pro Bowl rosters announced: 9 Ravens to represent AFC, no Patrick Mahomes or Baker Mayfield

The NFL announced the rosters for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday morning. Players from 28 of 32 teams were selected, with the Baltimore Ravens leading the way with nine selections, followed by the Detroit Lions (7), Minnesota Vikings (6), Philadelphia Eagles (6), Dallas Cowboys (5) and Kansas City Chiefs (5).

Four teams that are not represented are the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. Those teams could end up with players taking part as replacements.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place once again in Orlando on Feb. 2 and feature players competing in a skills competition as well as a flag football game, which will be coached by Peyton and Eli Manning.

Among the notable players missing includes Lions safety Kerby Joseph, the NFL interceptions leader. While he finished first in fan voting among free safeties, he was not one of the three who will be part of the Pro Bowl. Joseph’s teammate, Brian Branch, who was second in fan voting at strong safety, made the team.

Joseph posted a GIF on X Wednesday showing how confused he was at the decision.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes did not make the AFC roster, the first time since he’s been a starter in the NFL and has not been selected for the Pro Bowl. On the other side, Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not be heading to Orlando.

One rookie missing out will be Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The wide receiver is fifth in the NFL in receiving yards (1,179) and tied for fifth with 10 touchdowns this season.

While Thomas was left off, 24 other rookies were named to the AFC rosters, including Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and Los Angeles Rams linebacker Jared Verse. Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders made the NFC team, making him just the fourth rookie quarterback since 1970 to make the Pro Bowl roster.

Here are the full rosters for the AFC and NFC:

(Voting by fans, players and coaches each count for a third of the final vote.)
