From Hawk Central’s Chad Leistikow: Missouri 20, Iowa 17 … The Hawkeyes’ defense will come to play, but the offense will be searching without its stud back in Johnson. I could see this resembling Iowa’s 2021 season loss to Kentucky in the Citrus Bowl by the same score in a highly competitive game. Iowa may need a defensive or special-teams score to win, but Missouri is well-coached, motivated and good at avoiding the big mistakes that Iowa depends upon.
